Before you publish this: this updates the structure of your existing privacy policy to reflect your current tools (ActiveCampaign instead of Mailchimp, WEtravel/Stripe for payment) — but a privacy policy is a legal document and data protection law changes, so please have this reviewed before it goes live, especially the retention and third-party sections.
We collect basic personal information you give us directly: when you complete a booking form, subscribe for updates, or contact us by email. This typically includes your name, email address, and any details you choose to share relevant to your booking.
We do not store any payment details. Payments are handled entirely by our payment providers (currently WEtravel, and/or Stripe where Klarna instalments are offered) or, occasionally, by direct bank transfer.
We use your information to: communicate about your enquiry, booking, or retreat; provide the services and information you've requested; and, if you've opted in, send occasional emails about future retreats and updates via ActiveCampaign.
If you subscribe to the Video Library, we store your email address in order to send your private access link and manage your subscription. We do not share this list outside Ohso Yoga.
We use two categories of cookies, and you choose which (if any) you're happy with via the cookie banner shown on your first visit — you can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.
Analytics — with your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, general location, device type). This helps us improve the site; it doesn't identify you personally.
Marketing — with your consent, we use the Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) to measure the effectiveness of our social ads and show relevant ads to people who've shown interest in Ohso Yoga.
Neither of these loads or collects any data until you've actively accepted that category. If you reject both, only the essential cookies needed to remember your cookie choice are used.
You can unsubscribe from emails at any time via the link in any message. You're entitled to ask what information we hold about you, request corrections, or ask us to delete it — email hello@ohsoyoga.com. If you believe we've mishandled your data, you have the right to complain to the ICO.
Your data is stored securely and is never passed to anyone outside Ohso Yoga, other than the service providers needed to run our business (payment processors, email platform, booking system).
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the update.
